The exhibition is centered around the precious private collection of the Finnish Ambassador to China, Mr. Sundström. It presents to the public the art and cultural treasures that the Ambassador has accumulated over the years, during his cultural exchanges between China and Finland. We use the space and the collection to tell a story about Sino-Finnish friendship. We show the fusion of the two cultures in the same space, It also continues the unfinished wish of Mr. Cay Sundström, Finland’s first Ambassador to China...

For this project, we’ve chosen environmentally friendly wood and paper to present the Finnish forest, lake and manor in a symbolic visual language. In addition, the light and restrained texture of the materials also implicitly expresses the Eastern aesthetics, such as the lantern, the bamboo book and the bamboo forest. ......​
